Communication in your language: St Matthew eAccounting offers hands-on tax advice for several EU countries. Our consultants speak your language and understand the system in your country and how it refers to the UK or Irish Tax system. Whether you want to understand how you and your venture fit into the system or simply want detailled advice on your specific situation, our consultants do both in your language.

Big Four accountants: All tax advice is provided by our fully certified accountants who are based in London, Dublin and other countries in the EU. Some of them work for us on a full-time basis, others as freelancers. We tend to employ specialists who have previously worked for the Big Four companies such as PwC and KMPG since their focus is pretty international.

Making sure to present the best solution for YOU: We always look to find the best solution for your sistuation. When discussing your situation we will point out any risks to you and will always suggest good solutions that make you as well as the tax man happy.

  • Year End Accounts
These are the financial statements that need to be filed with Companies House (the register of companies) and HMRC, the tax authorities. Our accountants produce the accounts and once signed off by you they will be filed with the authorities.
  • Dormant Accounts

A company is dormant if it has had no 'significant' accounting transactions during a financial year. We will claim an exemption from sending in audited accounts on your behalf. All you need to do is send us your abbreviated balance sheet and notes and we do the rest.

  • Corporation Tax Return
A corporation tax return needs to be filed with HMRC together with the financial statements no later than 12 months after the end of the financial year. Our accountants produce the tax return and file it with HMRC once approved by you.

  • Personal Tax Return
We sort out your tax returns for you. All we need from you is information on your salary, your previous tax return, and a signed 64-8 so we can act on your behalf towards the authorities if necessary. This includes Non Dom services as well as standard personal tax returns.

  • Annual Return
The maintenance of statutory books is the keeping up-to-date of the records and where necessary, the adjustments to reflect any changes that have taken place within the company. Statutory books and records are documents kept by your company which detail important aspects of your operations and structure.
